Quillets is situated in the charming little village of Clarens, known as the Jewel of the Eastern Free State. We are on five acres of gardens and orchards perched on the side of a mountain with breathtaking views of the surrounding Maluti and Rooiberg range. Probably the best view in Clarens!

Our guesthouse is unique and exclusive as it offers only one unit of accommodation, the most spacious in Clarens. It comprises one very large bedroom (50sqm) with a double bed and two single beds. This fact enables you to make your own sleeping arrangements.

The en suite accommodation includes a large sitting/dining area and library (60sqm), full bathroom and toilet, a second toilet and wash basin, a sitting out area off the bedroom and in addition a balcony with tables and chairs off the sitting room - all connected by a short flight of stairs.

The suite is tastefully decorated and towels and linen are supplied. A hospitality tray has tea, coffee, biscuits etc. There is a medium sized fridge for the use of visitors, electric blankets on all beds, a toaster and oil fired heaters.

Quillets is 1km from the town centre on a tarred road. This means that you have the peace and tranquillity of the countryside, away from the noise and congestion of the town, but at the same time you have all the facilities of the town within easy reach.

There is safe parking right at the entrance to the suite. Relax and enjoy the undivided attention and warm hospitality of your hosts Dr. Roly Whittaker and his wife Nancy. We will gladly advise you about the many activities available in Clarens and make bookings where necessary.
