Ramsgate Dunes is situated on Marine Drive, 2km south of Ramsgate village and
approximately a further 10km south of Margate. The surrounding area is tranquil
with no large hotels nor shopping centers in close proximity, offering a
detached vacation from everyday chaos. A family Spar, butchery, video store and
other convenience outlets are 5mins drive from the house. Many family
restaurants are scattered in and around the area making for fun dining.
The house is located in a small secure complex which includes electric fencing,
guards and controlled access points. Only a small narrow tropical forest
separates the house from the beach. This forest provides beautiful landscape
scenery, a windbreak as well as privacy from the beach goers. It is a 200m walk
to Southbroom beach which boasts lifeguards, a lagoon, restaurant and tidal
pool. Additionally, a beach walkway is available which allows you to enjoy a
stroll along the beach, perfect for exercise or leisure. The complex also has a
swimming pool and clubhouse available to all residents.
The unit consists of three bedrooms, all upstairs. The main bedroom is ensuite
with a balcony looking out onto the small reserve and the sea. A second bathroom
which includes a shower is also upstairs. A television is available in the main
bedroom. The downstairs area includes a fireplace, lounge/family room with
television, dining area and fully equipped kitchen as well as a guest toilet. The courtyard is paved and offers outside washing up facilities, a washing line
and outside shower. The patio has a large dining area as well as built in braai
and a separate sitting area perfect for relaxing and reading. A DStv decoder is
available for your convenience. Bed linen and bath towels are also available for
use and Atoria, our faithful housekeeper is available to help around the house
for an additional charge.
The unit has one lock up garage and one car-port. In the garage there are beach umbrellas and beach chairs available. Please note to bring your
own beach towels and DStv card for the decoder. No smoking allowed in units. No pets allowed in the complex.
