Budmarsh is renowned for its excellent cuisine and offers the best gastronomical experience in the Magaliesberg. Be sure to enjoy a relaxing day out in the country, having High Tea, Sunday Lunch, or a picnic at your leisure.

A delectable four course lunch is served on Sundays, from 12h30, at R290/person. Children are welcome for Sunday Lunches.

Morning and Afternoon High Teas are served Mondays through to Saturdays.

Budmarsh offers you the opportunity to relax, unwind and be treated to a charming picnic on the Budmarsh lawns. And it will be perfectly understood if after indulging in the delights of the picnic basket that you simply close your eyes and fall asleep.

While relaxing you may want to see if you can spot the Golden Oriel whose distinctive call is often the only clue that this beautiful but elusive bird is in the trees. Other birds, including the resident fish eagle and many kingfishers are often spotted. Picnics are R250 per basket for two guests.

Day visitors on Saturdays are also welcome to select a meal from the light lunch menu.

Our Executive Chef is Chris who hails from the United Kingdom has learnt at the feet of Master Michelin Star Chefs. Having worked for two and a half years in France ensured that Chris has a deep understanding of and a passion for fine dining. While Chris's style is eclectic he loves to use the freshest ingredients especially fresh herbs which delicately balance flavours.
