Camil's on the Greenpoint strip in Cape Town banishes the conventional and
offers diners an experience that includes sensational tastes, sociable ambiance,

It's actually two restaurants in one: Casa, a pavement European-style café that
features good quality food made to order. But blink twice and you could be
forgiven for thinking that you're lounging in a picturesque crêperie in the
heart of Europe... along with its attractive courtyard seating, location and
décor.
The more formal setting next door restaurant Camil's is a refreshing encounter
where patrons are offered a dining experience where superior quality dishes are
the order of the day. The two restaurants are well spaced and merge well into
each other, and ordering across the menus is no problem... equally tasteful, both
restaurants are vibrantly chic, and due to their intimate layout, encourage
conversation.
Camil's informative menu exposes its patrons to new ideas - not only offering a
wonderful choice of food, but also promoting the methods used in the preparation
of any chosen meal. Guests will be presented with processes both unique and
conventional - such as ceviche - a special curing method where seafood is made
in a citrus-marinade. Other options include seared tartares, various sashimis
such as tuna, scallop, salmon and beef with shitake mushrooms. Then there are
various bamboo baskets with mouth-watering food such as steamed vegetarian rice
paper rolls.
Situated on of the most supreme locations in the City, overlooking one of the
countries most-beautiful stadiums, and on the ground floor of the luxury Cape
Royal Hotel, the restaurant is easy to find and accessible. Plans in the
pipeline include operating a shuttle-service to the CBD, shuttling businessmen
and women to and from the restaurant for its new business lunch. Valet parking
will also be offered.
