The restaurant is housed in the main building, a 150 year old house. It has
been built in the traditional Cape farm house style. The walls are about 400mm
wide and built with unbaked mud bricks. Oregon floors and doors are typical.
Originally the floor boards were installed on Yellowwood beams that were
harvested in the Platberg. We can accommodate 30 people in and out of the
building. The menu changes daily depending on fresh produce that are available.
We grow our own vegetables and herbs.
The restaurant is known for the romantic atmosphere and for the delightful home
made meals that are prepared. Every meal is prepared in our kitchen.
We serve the following:
Dinner - a three-course meal from 18h30
Breakfast between 08h00 and 10h00.

Farm breakfast
A cheese and herb omelette served with grilled bacon, sausages, grilled
tomato, potato rosti and a salad garnish. Accompanied by a basket of breads.
Granny Florence's Individual Quiches
Made with eggs & cream & serve with Feta & tomato. Using Harrismith Cheese.
