Thyme Restaurant & Deck is situated at Nabana Lodge close to Hazyview, central to the Panorama scenic route which includes the Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest, Blyderiver canyon, Graskop. There are various activities in Hazyview itself, including 2 well known golf courses.
 
Guests are treated to a variety of delicious meals at “Thyme Restaurant & Deck” by in-house Head Chef – Paul Shepheard – whose overseas training ensures an exquisite dining experience.
 
Our wine list of local South African wines compliment our a la carte menu perfectly enhanced by the view from our deck overlooking our gardens, sparkling pool and beautiful lush farmlands below.
 
Once monthly you can join us for our famous “Pudding Club” which is held every first Friday of the month where you can come and indulge your sweet tooth with a selection of 6 desserts after having a delicious main course.
 
For those who prefer simpler meals, grab some “pub grub” whilst watching the latest rugby game on our big screen in “The Sportsman’s Bar”.  Our Bar is fully licensed, has a pool table, dart board and a very big screen for all major sporting events from Rugby to Formula 1.
 
At Thyme our focus is family – therefore we have a fun filled children’s play area on the property in view of the restaurant for our younger guests to enjoy themselves whilst mom and dad have a peaceful meal.  We also cater for children’s birthday parties, baby showers, and kitchen tea’s.
 
The Thyme Restaurant can also accommodate small conferences for up to 15 delegates, and with our Head Chef having extensive experience in catering for larger parties and functions like weddings or end year functions, we can ensure that each function is personalized to suite your requirements and budget.
