Rohrs Farm Guesthouse is a spacious country house where Remo and Heidrun will
welcome you in German, Afrikaans and English.
The peace and quiet, tranquillity and stunning view are some of the things that
make guests want to come back again. Guests are wakened by bird-song and can
enjoy a full English- and Continental breakfast which is served in the spacious,
sitting-/ dining room or on the veranda with a lovely view onto the large, well
kept garden and wide open spaces.
All rooms are spacious, each with private entrance from the well-kept garden.
Heyshopedam is nearby and Swaziland lays about 50km away. Wakkerstroom, famous
for paragliding and it’s beautiful wetland birdwatching reserve, is 70km from
us.
For people travelling between the Kruger National Park and Kwazulu-Natal or the
Indian Ocean, our guesthouse is the perfect place to sleep over or relax for a
few days.
The German immigrants moved to this area in1859 and since then there is a 4 and
5 generation German community in this area.
Come and enjoy peace and quiet, lovely views and abundant bird life.
ROOM 1
This is a cozy and spacious room with two extra lenth single beds, en-suite
bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. A comfortable, little desk for the
business person who wants to catch up on some work, rounds this beautiful room
off.
ROOM 2
This room has a double wooden-framed door that opens onto the spacious garden
which you can view from an extra length queensize bed. This room has an en-suite
bath/shower, basin and toilet.
ROOM 3
This room opens into a fenced courtyard where barbeques can be held. This cozy
room has two extra length single beds, separate en-suite toilet and bathroom
with bath, shower and basin.
GARDEN VIEW
The Garden View Unit is a cozy, fully serviced self-catering unit that forms one
part of the guesthouse. It has an open plan lounge/kitchen with microwave, stove
and fridge.
Guests are treated with a hearty breakfast in the dining room or on the veranda
with a lovely view of the garden and farm. All our guests may relax in the
public lounge or maybe enjoy a barbeque in the courtyard.
