Roman Rock has the ideal position from where you can explore the Cape Peninsula. We are 3km from the centre of Simon's Town, direction Cape Point. We are at 21 Dorries drive, Froggy Farm. We overlook Fisherman's Beach, with uninterrupted sea views over False Bay.

Go for an early morning dip in the sea, a stone's throw from your balcony. Walk down to the famous Boulders beach to watch the penguins.

Accommodation

We have 3 self-catering apartments, all with balconies with sun beds for sun-tanning, or for breakfast in the morning. Each apartment has a bedroom with a king sized bed - en-suite bathroom, a spacious lounge with dining room table/ easy chairs/ TV with full DSTV, wifi and two extra single beds. Two of the apartments have BBQ facilities. Secure parking is available, also good security.

The apartments are well equipped with bedding, towels (bring own beach towels), hair-dryer, heater, fan, etc.

The kitchen is well equipped to prepare a meal, microwave oven, two-plate hob, kettle, toaster, coffee-maker, all cutlery and crockery, pots and pans.

Each apartment has a private entrance.

Things to do in Simon's Town

Suntan on your balcony or on the many safe beaches within walking distance.

Watch or swim with the penquins at Boulders beach - only 10 minutes walk.

Visit Cape Point Nature Reserve - only 10km to the gate - spend hours walking in nature on the hiking trails Take part in water sport - kayaking, shark diving, wind-surfing, surfing or watch the whales from your balcony in season.

Walk the historical mile in town and visit the two museums in town, shop and visit the many coffee shops and restaurants.

Walk down to the golf course for a 9 hole game Visit the yacht club, visitors welcome Deep sea fishing can be done

Drive Chapman's Peak - enjoy the scenic route and visit HoutBay.

Kirstenbosch - our Botanical garden - is worth a visit Spend a day in the Waterfront in CT, take the cable car to Table Mountain and visit Robben island.

Hop on the Red Bus in the Waterfront for sightseeing in the city and beyond Visit the Constantia wine farms, only 30 minutes drive.

Stellenbosch wine farms only an hour's drive away.
