Sandown Lodge is a charming 19th Century Georgian House, centrally situated in picturesque surroundings directly opposite Newlands Cricket and Rugby Stadiums and the University of Cape Town are within walking distance. The Jamie shuttle bus to and from UCT has a pick up point outside our Lodge.

Popular tourist attractions, including Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cavendish Square, Restaurants and the BaxterTheatre are a mere 10 minutes drive away.

Cape Town International airport, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain and Robben Island are easily accessible and about a 15 minute drive away.

The beaches and a number of top wine estates are a 20 - 30 minute drive away.

Accommodation:

Accommodation is offered in two light, spacious and well appointed double suites and a double B&B room with en-suite bathroom.

Each double suite consists of a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom, lounge area and a kitchenette. The kitchenettes contain a microwave oven, 2 plate stove, fridge, kettle, toaster and all cutlery and crockery, to ensure convenient self catering for those wanting to.

Each suite has its own private, separate entrance with secure off street parking and access to a secluded garden patio. All three suites are equipped with satellite TV and have access to Wireless Internet.

Laundry and babysitting services can be provided on request.

Two additional guests can be accommodated within the larger suites if required.
