Sand River Guest House is located in a 24-hour manned security suburb that
leads directly into the Rivonia central business district. A large selection of
restaurants, bars and shops (including 2 major supermarkets) are within walking
distance. Sandton City, Fourways Mall and Monte Casino are all within a 15
minute drive from Rivonia.
This one-acre property situated along the banks of the Sand River offers peace
and tranquillity in the midst of Johannesburg's northern suburbs. Named after
the river, which is home to abundant birdlife, guests can enjoy the sounds of
nature; a rare commodity when considering how conveniently located we are to the
major arterial routes for the airport, Sandton CBD and Pretoria.
Accommodation:
1 luxury, 3 superior and 2 courtyard rooms offer all the comforts the traveller
needs: en-suite bathrooms (5 with showers only), separate external entrances for
your convenience, DSTV, high quality linen, hair dryers; air-conditioners,
laundry service and tea/coffee facilities. 4 rooms open onto the garden with
views down the rolling lawn to the river. The luxury room has a king size bed,
the other rooms all have queen size beds. One of the courtyard rooms will offer
either twin or king size beds by July 2008. Each courtyard room has a small
private courtyard and an outside shower.
Lounge & Breakfast Room:
A permanent tea and coffee station, an honour bar, and a fireplace for winter
are on offer. A full breakfast is served in the morning. The lounge is quiet and
comfortable - perfect for relaxing and/or reading from the library of wildlife
and other African books.
Business Meetings:
Sand River Guest House offers discreet conference facilities (max 10 delegates)
including catering, complimentary wireless internet, fax and photocopying.
Outdoor Area:
With over 285 days of sunshine and the river to attract abundant birdlife Sand
River Guest House offers guests the opportunity to experience fresh air! There's
