snorkelling, walking along deserted beaches, fishing or just relaxing on the
yacht listening to the sound of the water gently lapping at the hulls while

Bassas Da India (extreme sailing, fishing/diving trip - 10 days Only 6
people)
This is an extreme, once in a life time opportunity. Bassas Da India is a
circular atoll with an 11km diameter. It is located in the Mozambique Channel
250 miles due east from the Bazaruto Archipelago which is where we are based.
This volcanic atoll thrusts up from the seabed which is at depths of 3000km. The
coral rim is about 100m wide in places and sits at the surface of the ocean,
being mostly submerged at high tide, but at spring lows you can walk freely on
the atoll which is scattered with cannons, anchors and other remnants from over
100 shipwrecks, of which the Santiago 1585, is the most famous. Some of these
wrecks on the "wild side" make for superb diving when conditions are good.
Fishing for GT's on the wildside is what really gets your adrenalin flowing.
Craig takes the yacht as close to the atoll as possible so that you can cast
directly off the yacht straight into the gulleys where these fish are known to
hunt. We’ve caught GT's here that weigh anything from 40kg and upwards.
R120,000 for the whole trip
