Schoonerklip Guesthouse is owner managed and situated in Paternoster, one of
the oldest fishing villages on the West Coast of South Africa, 90 minutes from
Cape Town. Our home is in the second row of houses from the sea, no more than 80
meters from the beach. We do not believe in creating false expectations with
fancy words and creative photographs. We do not offer panoramic sea views and
all the bells and whistles. What we do offer is clean comfortable quality
facilities within walking distance from the beach and restaurants.
We offer 5 comfortable king double / twin rooms en suite with showers, tea trays
and a small fridge to keep your wine cool. Two of these rooms are upstairs and
lead out onto a veranda from where you can relax with a view to the sea. A third
king double / twin room is also upstairs but has no view to the sea. What makes
this room special is that it is more spacious than usual and has a private
balcony. All 3 upstairs rooms have fireplaces which is ideal for cooler times of
the year.
Downstairs we offer a 2 spacious king double / twin rooms, en suite with shower,
tea tray and small fridge. These rooms have no sea view, but are within 80
meters from the beach.
Delightful country breakfasts and warm West Coast hospitality has become our
trademark. Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and peaceful as possible.
Regrettably children younger than 16 years can not be accommodated.

- Take long walks on the beach.
- Safe off-road parking and walk to restaurants.
- Laundry service available.
- Most Credit cards welcome.
- Strictly no smoking in rooms.
- No pets allowed.
- No children under 16.
