Stay in a whitewashed fisherman's cottage just 100 metres from the beach.
Seafarers Cottage is situated within Langezandt Fishermen's Village at
Struisbaai near Cape Agulhas, and is a relaxing two-hour drive from Cape Town,
through the scenic Cape Overberg region.
Seafarers Cottage consists of a thatched main and guest cottage, together
sleeping six people.
The main cottage comprises a cosy living area with fireplace as well as an
eat-in kitchen that's perfect for long, lazy meals after a day at the beach.
Seafarers Cottage is fully-equipped for self-catering - with microwave, hob and
oven, fridge/freezer, coffee-maker, kettle and toaster, as well as pots, pans,
crockery, cutlery and utensils - a washing machine and dishwasher is provided for guests'
convenience.
There are two double bedrooms in the main cottage (one with queen bed, one with
two single beds), each with an en-suite bathroom.
Set only a few meters from the main cottage, the one-bedroom guest cottage is
the perfect hideaway for guests with a young child or for teenagers looking to
escape their parents. The guest cottage has one queen-size bed as well as an
en-suite shower room.
All bed linen is provided but guests are requested to provide their own bath
towels and beach towels. There are wall heaters in bedrooms.
Outside you'll find a hot and cold shower - perfect for rinsing sandy feet - as
well as an outdoor terrace with pergola that's equipped with a built-in
barbecue/braai and dining table. Sun-loungers and hammocks are provided for
afternoon naps!
The fully-walled and gated garden means children can play freely.

Step out of your door at Seafarers Cottage and on to a boardwalk that leads down
to an endless stretch of white sandy beach.
Between the months of June and December, morning strolls along the beach will
entice even the most lethargic guests, with the prospect of a whale wallowing
offshore guaranteed to motivate!
Seafarers Cottage is the ideal spot for nature walks, with abundant birdlife,
butterflies, tortoises and steenbokkies.
Langezandt Fisherman's Village is nearby Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of
Africa, where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet. The striking red-and-white
lighthouse here is now a National Monument.
A visit to the charming fishing village of Struisbaai is highly recommended.
Watch the fishermen's boats come in and buy fresh fish for dinner straight off
the boat.
The Struisbaai/ L'Agulhas area is a fisherman's mecca, renowned for its great
fishing grounds.
Restaurants in the Struisbaai/ L'Agulhas area offer a variety of cuisines, with
seafood a popular option.
A supermarket is conveniently located a few minutes� drive away from Seafarers
Cottage at Struisbaai.
