Seaside Cottage is exactly that. A double story wooden Cottage set on the
shoreline of the mystical Wilderness and can sleep five. The cottage has its own
private entry with electronic gate as well as shaded undercover parking. There
is a high wall that surrounds the property making it safe for children.
The ground floor has an open plan kitchen and lounge which is fully set up with
all the utensils one would need. There is a television in the lounge with VCR ,
and Satellite television.
Above are two bedrooms. An on suite with double bed and shower, basin and toilet
with a television. (cot is in the main room for infants) Sliding doors go off
the room onto a wooden balcony.
The second room has 3 single beds and a wall mounted television, ideal for the
kids. The bathroom offers a full bath ,basin, toilet and shower.
Throughout the year there are many activities one can persue. With the site
being very central to a host of activities. Paragliding one can land on the sand
in front of the cottage after launching from a world renown spot , The Map of
Africa, which is from the hill behind the cottage. Kitesurfing ,surfing and
fishing are literally 10 metres away and you are on the beach.
During the whaling season whales frequent the seas around the area and can often
be found just off the beach in front of the cottage.
Swimming is pleasant and there are lagoons nearby for the kids to play if that
is your preference. The wilderness National Park is a mere 2.5km away there are
beautiful nature trails waiting to be explored.
George is renowned for its breathtaking Golf courses such as Fancourt and the
Links. George is 12 km away.
The airport is 15km from the Cottage.
Knysna for the adventurer is 40 KM away where there have recently been 48
seahorses born in captivity, one of the only places in the world to have
seahorses visible to divers with little effort.
For the family this is the perfect breakaway destination with something to offer
for the whole family, safe and secure and child friendly we offer a trampoline,
a tree house and a lovely patch of lawn right on the sea's edge for the kids to
play.
There are a number of restaurants in the village all within walking distance, as
well as a garage and cafe for all your self catering requirements. The Garden
Route Mall is a short 5 minute drive away.
