Self-catering luxury accommdation, set against the side of a hill in Shaka's Rock
on the Dolphin Coast, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. So come and enjoy our
stunning, close up sea views! Sit out on your private, undercover wooden deck
and watch the dolphins swim past, hear the sounds of the surf, and enjoy the
fresh sea air. Come for that special one night stay, a relaxing weekend, or your
annual holiday. Come and be pampered in a friendly and care-free atmosphere.
SHAKA'S SEAT is a holiday home for all to enjoy. Take a two minute stroll to
Catfish Beach, enjoy the tidal pools and the warmth of the Indian Ocean. Then
get refreshed with a dip in our lovely swimming pool, which also has a braai
deck, and overlooks the sea. Conveniently situated, we are close to : * numerous
restaurants and takeways * medical and dental practitioners * the Salt Rock
Hotel * main Salt Rock Beach * superette, laundrette, bottle store and butchery
* Methodist Church
SHAKA'S SEAT has 5 self catering, spacious suites, as well as a little garden
cottage. They are all fully furnished and equipped for your every need. Each has
a beautiful en-suite bathroom, with double vanities, bath and shower. The king
size beds are comfortable and the kitchenettes, with dining facilities, have
everything that you might need. All accommodation has a flatscreen wall mounted
TV (selected channels, or bring with your own decoder, smartcard and remote),
and big glass sliding fold up doors which lead out to the private undercover wooden
decks, where you can sip a drink or eat your meal, whilst enjoying the beautiful
sea views.
The suites comfortably accommodate two adults, but some can take a third person.
Our newly renovated big SHAKA'S SUITE, is now a two bedroomed unit. It is
spacious and extremely popular. The Garden Cottage does not have sea views, but
is private, secure and ideal for noisy toddlers!
There are plenty of braai facilities, either at the pool, in the gardens or at
the swimming pool. The property is fully fenced and secure. All parking areas
are either undercover or shady and suites are serviced each morning, except on
Sundays and some public holidays.
SHAKA'S SEAT is a wonderful honeymoon destination, with our BEACH and GREEN
Suites proving tremendously popular. We do have "honeymoon" and "pamper" package
deals available. Details on request.
