village of Waterval Boven - gateway to the world-famous Kruger National Park

The Shamrock Arms is unquestionably an ideal stopover for both the business and
leisure traveller. It is situated 'more or less' half way between Oliver Tambo
International Airport (previously known as the Johannesburg International
Airport) and the Kruger National Park. This will be of particular interest to
travellers, who on arrival at OT International Airport are keen on the idea of
getting some 'mileage' behind them on the first day so that the drive to the
park the next day is not so daunting.
All of the rooms have their own private outside entrance and en-suite bathroom.
The Luxury Rooms of which there are 6, have air-conditioning (hot &
cold), satellite TV with decoder, mini bar, tea/coffee facility and electronic
safe. You have a choice of either a double bed (king or queen size) or twin

In and around Waterval Boven you can do: trout / bass fishing, rock climbing and
abseiling, mountain biking and hiking and horse riding.
