Shepherd's Fold, 'The Bed & Breakfast with a View', is beautifully situated
overlooking an unspoilt nature reserve with the sea sparkling in the distance. A
peaceful, restful atmosphere is the hallmark of our B&B and much commented on by
our guests. There are five tastefully furnished units, each with its own private
entrance, garden or patio. A colour TV, microwave and tea/coffee making
facilities are available in all units. Four of these units are equipped with bar
fridges.
Depending on the weather, breakfast is either served in the dining room or on
our sundeck with it's lovely view. A full English breakfast or a lighter
breakfast for the health conscious is provided. Tasty two course dinners are
available by arrangement out of season. Braai facilities are also available by
arrangement.
There is secure off-road parking and the property is fully fenced with a guest
operated remote to gain access or exit the property.
Fax/Internet and limited laundry facilities are available on request.
Children are welcome.
B&B Accommodation
- Sunbird Room: Decorated in warm, rich colours to enable one to
relax, with a Queen size bed to really stretch out in, and its own small but
private patio area. The room has a TV, shower en suite and small kitchenette
equipped with microwave, fridge and essential kitchenware. Only microwave
cooking is permitted in this unit.
- Elephant Room: This is your African 'home from home' with its
ethnic artwork and furnishings. Equipped with a TV, bar fridge, microwave
and coffee / tea making facilities it has an extra length Queen size bed, a
shower en-suite, and private verandah and entrance. This unit has direct
access onto the pool/sundeck area.
- Buffalo Suite: This family unit has a private entrance and direct
access to the pool and sundeck area. The main room has two single beds (with
a king bed option) and a TV. There are tea/coffee making facilities and a
microwave for warming food only. The second room has a single bed and
sleeper couch. The unit has a full bathroom with a separate second toilet.
- Kingfisher Room: The emphasis is on rich earthy colours with
slate and sand stone floors. There is an en-suite shower bathroom and a
small private patio entrance to the unit. The room has a comfortable double
bed a TV, microwave, bar fridge and coffee/tea making facilities. Guests can
enjoy the direct access onto the pool/sundeck area. THE KINGFISHER ROOM HAS
THE OPTION TO INTERLEAD WITH " THE APARTMENT " ...
- The Apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and one bathroom
with a bath and toilet (we use gas geysers). There is a separate small
kitchen with a microwave, Salton Stove (2 hotplates & mini-oven), fridge and
the kitchen necessities, as well as a small private lounge/dining room with
a TV.
