Nestled in the heart of the vallies and hills of the Waterberg, Shikwaru Lodge offers the perfect getaway for conferences ,wild life enthusiasts, bird watchers and anglers.

This 1200 hectare farm is in a malaria-free environment, situated in the Limpopo province of South Africa, 28km South of Mokopane and 2,5hrs drive from Johannesburg and 2hrs from Pretoria. Shikwaru is the Shona name for the Pangolin, a resident on the farm.

Our intensive management techniques are testimony to our commitment to the utmost quality and service and our personnel are our greatest ambassadors.

You are invited to come and enjoy true bushveld hospitality in style and comfort with breathtaking scenery.

Conferences:
Shikwaru Lodge has a basic but effective air-conditioned conference center with a seating capacity of up to 70 people. The center is set in tranquil surroundings and is ideal for corporate meetings and training sessions.

Basic equipment included in the day fee for the conference room include data projector, flip chart and sound system.

A team building course with 9 different activities is also available and we have an onsite facilitator.

Accommodation:
Our accommodation includes luxury chalets, a luxury tented camps and a bush camp. We cater for individuals, families and groups. All the chalets are self catering equipped but we have a Restaurant onsite that has a variety of dishes available.

Game Breeding:
Shikwaru Lodge is home to more than 30 species of mammals including: giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, and leopard. Our breeding programme consists of Cape Buffalo, Nyala and Sable Antelope. Shikwaru's main objective is to establish herds of exceptional quality stock for re-sale.

Reaching a Generation: (RaG)
At Shikwaru we support and have faith in the initiative to bring the good news of hope to South Africa's children and to replace despair with hope and tears with laughter. Therefore we support the Reaching a Generation (RaG) organization.

RaG partners with companies, communities, churches, schools, hospitals and other Non Governmental Organizations for the purpose of effecting and changing the lives and destinies of the children of South and Southern Africa and giving a message that there is hope regardless of the huge challenges facing our world today.
