The farm Skietkuil is situated on the N1, halfway between Johannesburg and Cape
Town. It is also a quiet, scenic stopover for those traveling from Port
Elizabeth to the West coast or Namaqualand.
This holiday farm in the heart of the Karoo, 60km south of Richmond and 115km
north of Beaufort West, offers a unique opportunity to enjoy fabulous family
accommodation, warm hospitality, tranquility and magnificent Karoo sunsets.
Skietkuil offers affordable rates and quiet surroundings where guests can unwind
and de-stress from their long journeys.
Skietkiul B&B offers five spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated units.
Two with fully equipped kitchens. There are aircons and dstv, (all the channels)
in every room.
Guests can relax with a refreshment out of their honesty fridges or at the bar
in the entertainment area. If they would like to leave early the following
morning they can help themselves with dry cereals and coffee, tea with home made
rusks.
From the farm kitchen comes fine country cuisine. Farm lamb, Beef and Venison,
prepared to your preference with home grown selection of fresh farm vegetables.
Dinners are served in the entertainment area. A traditional barbeque under the
Karoo stars is also a favourite. Braaipacks are offered.
English breakfast are served with home made bread, fruits, etc.
Izak and Anel van Heerden and their staff are renowned hosts, where guests
become dear friends. Whether your stay is brief or extended, it will provide a
lifetime of pleasant memories.
Skietkuil B&B offers a wide range of exciting activities besides the
