Hidden in the "malaria free" valleys of Kuilsfontien where the Bushveld and
the Highveld meet, you will find SlateRidge Farm. This 350 hectare farm offers
you peace and tranquility far away from the bustle of city life.
SlateRidge Farm is approx. 2 and a half hours from JHB and 27km from Groot
Marico town.
This hidden gem boasts beautiful scenery, with hidden valleys and crystal clear
streams, nestled under the canopies of the forests and hills. Anyone who is a
nature lover will truly enjoy the diversity the farm has to offer. Bushbuck,
kudu, warthogs, antelope can be seen while hiking, bird watching, mountain
biking. Swim in the secret rock pools or just relax under the trees and enjoy
the peaceful surroundings. Take a picnic basket and slip away into the numerous
valleys where you can watch nature pass you by.
This is an organic farm, the owner is absolutely passionate about nature, where
peace and harmony reign supreme.
SlateRidge Farm is self catering accommodation, all units are beautifully
decorated with splendid views of the surrounding hills and are fully equipped,
guests only need to supply their own food and beverages. Fresh farm produce is
available on request, and herbs can be picked from the herb garden. No
television or cell phone signal means a real break!
SlateRidge Farm offers the following accommodation:
2 x double self catering units, sleeps 2 people each.

SlateRidge farm offers the following:

- Rooms will be serviced for stays of 3 days and more.
- Lamb packs, fresh farm chickens, eggs, fresh milk, cream & butter
available on request.
- There is a little gift shop which sells Organic essential oils, homemade
body creams and scrubs (personal use & gifts) & various other locally made
crafts.
- Fresh farm vegetables will be available depending on demand and on
request.
- Farm breakfast available on request.
- Table tennis.
