Southey Cottage is located near the slopes of
Claremont. It has a lovely sheltered and private garden - with pool, trampoline and superb mountain views, and secure off street parking. The pretty garden is an absolute haven of peace and quiet.
Four very comfortable double en suite bedrooms are tastefully furnished. Each with its own private entrance. Three suites have their` own mini kitchenette with fridge / micro-wave / tea / coffee / utensils and facilities that can be used for warming up convenience meals. All the normal little comforts of heated towel rails / hairdryer / shaving plugs / heaters / fans / Wireless ADSL for business purposes / shared DSTV etc are available. Beach towels are available as well. Smoking on your balcony / patio outside please.
Southey Cottage is also very centrally situated. We have easy access to the City / UCT /
Hout Bay / Cape Town Airport - and popular Beaches. All within a 15 minute drive from us.

Kirstenbosch Gardens nearby are perfect for a stroll and for sports fans,
Newlands Ruby and Cricket Stadiums are just around the corner?
On your arrival, your hosts will invite you to the lovely quiet private garden - for a cup of tea / coffee under the old Yellowwood tree with its lovely view of Devil's Peak while you sip ! Soon you will relax and feel very much at home. We have a very informal / relaxed atmosphere and obviously respect your need for privacy and quiet. We can arrange pick and drop from the airport / plus any other local travel needs you may have. Hire cars / Tour guides / Taxis - Or any out of town trips or visits that you may wish to do.
Southey Cottage has been caring for guests for over 13 years. Our guests come back to us regularly every year and always book their same suite. We love having all our guest back to stay with us.
We are an AA/SAA Bed & Breakfast Award winner - 4 Stars TGCSA, and have been in Portfolio Collection for eleven years .. Children over ten are welcome.
