This 140 square meter apartment is on the 7th floor of an attractive Sea
Facing building. There are 2 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a King-size extra
length bed with a door leading onto the balcony. This room has a full en-suite
bathroom and dressing area. A TV, wall safe, and air-conditioner are installed.
The curtains have 100% light block out lining. The bathroom has under floor
heating and a heated towel rail. One can lie in bed and watch the ships go by
and listen to the waves crashing below.
The second bedroom has two single beds, with a bathroom next to it. This
bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet. It also has under floor heating and
heated towel rail.
All bedding is white percail linen and the towels are large and fluffy. 4 Pool
towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge, oven, hob, microwave, kettle,
toaster and the scullery has dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The
dining room table seats 6 people. Good quality crockery and cutlery are
provided. A pre-paid telephone and fax machine are provided. There is also a
phone that links you with security on the ground floor. All guests will be
announced by security. There is a free Wi-Fi connectivity in the restaurant on
the ground floor.
The lounge has a large TV with satellite TV, music centre and DVD player. This
area also has under floor heating and an air-conditioner. The open plan kitchen,
dining room and lounge all look out to the sea. There is a balcony with a
4-seater table and a small pool. From the balcony one has a panoramic view
including the coastline and the sea out to Robben Island.
Smoking is permitted on the balcony. This is the perfect spot to relax and
watch the magnificent sunset over the sea.
There is a gym and swimming pool in the building. Two parking bays are available
in the underground garage.
On the ground floor is Cafe Neo; it is open from 7am to 7pm. There are at least
4 restaurants within walking distance. The famous V&A Waterfront
is 3km away; here one can find over 50 restaurants, 10 cinemas, Aquarium and a variety of
stores for shopping.
Other activities:
- Running, walking - opposite the South Seas block is the marine promenade
with is a bricked safe walkway which follows the coast line for many
Kilometres.
- Wine tasting - in the waterfront or visit the wine farms about 40mins
away by car.
- Nightlife - the apartment is on the edge of the city so all-night life
entertainment is only a few minutes away.
- Table Mountain Cable car- this is in the city, 5 min away.
- City Tour Bus - this leaves from the V&A waterfront.
- Beach swimming- Clifton Beaches are 15 mins away by car.
- 2010 Soccer World cup - the stadium is within walking distance.
- Game Drives - 1 hour away by car.
