Located on what is known as the best position on the West Coast, Speelhuis
was designed by architect Gawie Fagan and will recapture your sense of fun,
hence the name Speelhuis (Play House).
These modern, open plan studios are north facing and have breathtaking ocean
views from their private balconies. They offer direct access to a wind free,
secluded beach. Features include a modern spiral glass shower and a hammock
where you can relax and soak up the breathtaking ocean views.
The following activities are available within walking distance from Speelhuis,
Jet Skiing, Nature Walks; to the north, there is 5 kilometers of sandy beach
walks. There is also a beautiful cliff side walk to Club Mykonos and watersports
are a major attraction in Langebaan, and if you don't have your own boat, yacht,
jetski, kayak, wind or kite surfing equipment, they are all available for hire
in central Langebaan.
A short drive away you can also visit the West Coast National Park, West Coast
Fossil Park or a game of golf can be played at Langebaan Country Club.

While at Speelhuis, you might also meet Ben, the Golden Retriever. Ben is
famously known as the world's naughtiest dog! Anyone who visits Paradise Beach,
should be warned that they would be welcomed by Ben and he would most likely
help himself to a souvenir (shoes are his favourite!). Ben is the owner of Erf
5119, 38 Zeus Street. He has, in a roundabout way, been trained by a dog called
"Weskus", who has now retired to Calypso Beach.
