Nestled in the green hills and mountains of the Southern Drakensberg, Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa, you will find the Stone Craft Cottage.   The cottage is situated on 4100 square meters of private property and is surrounded by the utter beauty that the small village of Himeville has to offer.

The house is situated in Himeville which is 5 km's from Underberg.  It is approximately one and a half hours from Pietermaritzburg and two and a half hours from Durban. It is close to all amenities, including hotels, shops, restaurants etc.  Pamphlets and brochures are available at the house for your perusal.

The accommodation consists of the main house which can sleep up to 8 people and has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms of which one is a shower en-suite in the main bedroom and the other a bath and separate toilet. The kitchen is open plan and the large lounge has a cosy fireplace for those cold winter nights.  The breathtaking view from the lounge sliding door overlooks the beautiful garden which has a number of indigenous plants and the Southern Drakensberg Escarpment.  The 2 bedroomed cottage which sleeps 4 people is rented out with the main house.  This consists of 2 bedrooms, a shower, hand basin and toilet.

The house is self-catering and fully equipped including an under counter oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, heaters, two fridges, DVD player, music centre, etc. You only need to take your own towels. There is a DStv decoder with a SABC smart card, which is available at a small deposit which is refunded on your departure. You are welcome to bring along your DStv smart card should you wish to watch DStv channels.

• Sani Pass Day Tours into Lesotho (passports are essential)
• Trout and Bass fishing in season - Himeville Nature Reserve.  Fishing rods can be hired
• Golf course in Underberg
• Horse Riding - Sani Pass Hotel or Khotso Horse Trails (both 15km away)
• Animal farms - Pucketty Farm Stall (Just outside Underberg) Duck & Dolittle Farm on the Drakensberg Gardens Road (+/- 10 km)
• Hiking Trails
• Museum in Himeville
• Quad Tours are 15 km away at the Sani Pass Hotel or 15km on the Drakensberg Gardens Road
