St.Phillips Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful double storey Victorian home
situated in Richmond Hill, one of Port Elizabeths most historical areas. This
grand old house was originally built in 1904 and lovingly restored to its former
glory in 2005. The staff and management welcomes you to enjoy the warmth and old
world atmosphere of our house.
Our guests can enjoy an afternoon walk in the quiet streets and parks of this
friendly suburb, pick up a coffee or treat at the popular bakery or deli, do
some browsing at the antique or specialty shops in the area or simply relax and
enjoy the spectacular city and sea views from the balcony.
St Phillips has 6 double guest rooms in the main building and 4 in the annex,
all en-suite with either a bath or a shower. The comfort of our guests is important to us and all of our beds are
large and of top quality. Our rooms are tastefully furnished , fully equipped
and serviced daily. All rooms are equipped with a television on remote and a
hotel suite of satellite channel selections are available to view. A personal
laundry service is available by prior arrangement with management. There is
enclosed, off-street parking that is provided at no additional charge to our
guests. Our tariff includes a traditional English or health breakfast and
dinners are available on request. For your convenience and comfort we have
allocated smoking areas.
St. Phillips Bed and Breakfast is conveniently situated close to all of Port
Elizabeths main attractions, restaurants and entertainment. A well structured
freeway and road system situated very close to St.Phillips will get you anywhere
in Port Elizabeth within 10-15 minutes. We are 10 mins away from the airport,
hospitals, blue flag beaches, main business centre, major shopping centres and
sports amenities including the Hill and Humewood golf clubs. St Georges Park
Cricket ground, the Oval Athletic Track and the 2010 Soccer World Cup Stadium
are all within walking distance from St. Phillips B&B.
