Sun cottage is a charming thatched cottage, nestled in the farmlands of the Eastern Free State Highlands, overlooking the Majestic Maluti Mountains. Situated on a working Organic Farm we offer a peaceful getaway.
Sun Cottage is quiet and peaceful, set in its own secluded garden. We will show you around the farm and explain the concepts of organic farming - see garlic, sheep, chickens, earthworms and bees.
- The cottage has spectacular, ever-changing views out over the mountains.
- Self-catering with a fully equipped kitchen - microwave, 2 plate stove, fridge, toaster, snackwich maker, kettle, pots, pans, cutlery & crockery.
- There is a cosy fireplace in the open plan living room.
- Sun cottage sleeps 5 - one bedroom with a double and a single bed and a double bed sleeper couch in the lounge. Bedding is provided. An extra mattress is available on request.
- The bathroom has both a shower and a bath. The toilet is separate.
- Relax and enjoy the scenic braai area.
We are a short and spectacular drive from
Clarens and Golden Gate. Lesotho and the ski slopes are close by.
There are lots of things to do and see in the area.
We will gladly help you organise your activities: Horse riding, walking, bird watching, swimming, fishing, 4x4 routes, quad bike riding & bushmen paintings.
