Sunset Splendour Guest House is located on an acre of land in the beautiful
semi rural area of Noordhoek.
However it is only a 30 minute drive from Cape
Town's CBD and close to the Peninsula's scenic wonders.
There are three apartments that all have separate entrances leading onto a
private patio with braai/barbeque facilities and into the garden.
The first apartment, Guinea Fowl Apartment, is a luxury double apartment with a
separate bedroom, with twin beds, an ensuite bathroom with shower and garden
views and another room with a kitchen and living area also opening up into the
garden
The kitchen /dining/lounge area comprise 20 square metres and is fully equipped
with:
Colour TV with DSTV, Large fridge and deep freeze, stove plus oven, microwave,
kettle, toaster, electric frying pan. There is ample crockery, cutlery, pots and
pans plus cooking utensils.
The second two roomed apartment, Sunset Apartment, is the largest and best
suited to a family of four. It has a large bedroom with twin beds and living
area with a couch. The other room has a single bed and a sleeper couch on the
one side and a kitchen on the other. Both rooms open onto the garden and have
beautiful garden views. The kitchen is fully equipped with two fridges - one is
a bar fridge plus an under counter fridge. There is a two plate hob, microwave,
toaster, kettle and electric frying pan. There is ample crockery, cutlery, pots
and pans plus cooking utensils. The dining table can seat 4 comfortably.
The third apartment, Gecko Apartment, comprises a large 30 square metre room
with a kitchenette fully equipped with two plate stove, under counter fridge,
toaster, kettle, microwave, pots and pans, crockery and cutlery. There is a
colour TV in this apartment. There is a dining table plus chairs and a couch
with standing lamp. There is a bathroom (shower only) in this apartment.
All the rooms are light, airy and equipped with the following:
- Main bedroom, with ensuite
- The bathrooms all have showers (no bath’s) but a plastic bath can be
supplied for babies and toddlers
- Each unit contains a colour TV
- Modern kitchenettes with microwave ovens
- Property is fully fenced with automatic security gate. Secure off-road
parking
- Rooms serviced on week days
- Towels provided (bring own beach towels)
- Phone and fax on premises
- Large enclosed swimming pool
- Swings for children
- No smoking is allowed in the apartments
Attractions & Activities in the Area:
Sunset Splendour is in walking distance to the Longbeach Mall making shopping
for food and supplies easy. It is a 5 minute drive from the beautiful
Noordhoek
beach and Chapmans Peak Drive on the Atlantic coast. It is also a 5 minute drive
to Fish Hoek beach in False Bay, a more protected beach that is great for
swimming.
Three minutes down the road is Noordhoek
farm village a quaint shopping/craft
village with two great restaurants and play area for kids.
Noordhoek is situated half way between
Cape Town and Cape Point, so it is
perfectly situated for scenic peninsula outings.
