The Karoo farm Taaibochfontein is a welcome oasis 14km off the N1 at the foot of the Nuweveld mountains, in the Three Sisters area. Situated halfway between Bloemfontein and Cape Town it is an ideal destination for the overnight visitor in a safe area with beautiful Karoo nature. Visitors are welcome to go for a drive watch the birds or climb a mountain. Taaiboschfontein is included in the Kromriver riverine rabbit conservancy, has an indigenous aloe nursery.

We have bicycles available for guests to hire to do a lovely bush trail/ mountain trail. We also have walking trails.

We have a off the beaten track hunters hut for the more daring guests who would truly like to experience the Karoo and have 100% privacy. However the "hunters hut" only works on gas and oil lamps.

We have also revamped a windpump reservor into a real Karoo farm swimming pool for those hot summer days, guests can laze away in the waters.
