Tenahead Mountain Lodge, in a remote region of South Africa, where three
mountain ranges meet, the Drakensberg, the Witteberg and the Maluti. Here lies a

Tenahead is 3,500 hectares of unspoilt mountains, valleys and streams.
7 Luxury, en-suite bedrooms with open fireplaces which are lit throughout the
snowy winter. Each is beautifully furnished for comfort and luxury. Large double
glazed windows grace a single wall of each bedroom, framing panoramic views of
the awesome mountains and valleys. The bedrooms all have a stocked bar fridge,
tea and coffee facilities, satellite television and a satellite phone. The
bathrooms are fitted with both a shower and a bath. All the spacious living
areas of the lodge are warmed by open fireplaces and have been stylishly
decorated.
Tenahead Winters are crisp with snow blanketing the buildings and ground and
changing it into a picture postcard.
Tiffendell Ski Resort is only 26 km's from Tenahead Lodge for snow skiing from
May to end of August. At Tenahead Mountain Lodge and Alpine Reserve, guests can
enjoy exhilarating horse trails, hiking routes and mountain biking. Take a
picnic basket with and enjoy the crystal clear streams and waterfalls. Try your
hand at Fly fishing for trout and indigenous yellow fish species. Visit the
Vulture Restaurant and enjoy sundowners on top of the world.
