No need to pack cars to go to the beach, the main beach is 100metres walking
distance from the unit. As this unit is in the second row away from the mainroad
and gates, you will not experience traffic-/pedestrian noise, which can become
quite disturbing during peak times. Security gates(operated with your own
remote) and 8ft walls will make your holiday more relaxing. This unit is highly
recommended from previous occupants.
The unit consists out of 3 fully furnished bedrooms (2x 1 double bed and 1x 2
single beds), linen included, but towels excluded. Sleeping six only. Main
Bedroom with ensuite bathroom (shower) and second bathroom with bath. Fully
equipped open plan kitchen (with dishwasher) and breakfast counter which opens
onto private courtyard and washing line. Unit also has automatic washing
machine, tumble dryer, TV, DStv (use own card D99 compatible/own decoder), DVD
Player, fridge/freezer and bar fridge. Lounge and main bedroom opens onto large
under roof patio, with patio set and gas braai. Lockup garage for two cars or
car and trailer, is a bonus for security.
Your short walk brings you to the main beach, restaurants/pubs and beach shops.
Things to do in the surrounding area include numerous golf courses,
crocodile/reptile/bird park, shopping malls, swimming with the whales, diving/snorkling,
fishing, canoeing, boat adventure trips, supertube, squash courts, tennis
courts, paint ball, rockclimbing, driving range, putt-putt and daily fun
activities on beach within season.
Scottburgh is only 50km from the Durban Airport, Durban Harbour, Kings Park
Stadium, the well-known Ushaka Marine and from the largest shopping malls in the
country. The new Galleria Mall with Ice rinks and Cinemas, is only 30km drive
from Scottburgh, excellent for rainy days.
Worth to mention is the safe beach with lifeguards, lagoon ideal for smaller
kids, grass terraces on main beach, umbrellas and beach chairs for rent. The
fact that Scottburgh is still safe and relatively crime free, makes it an ideal
family holiday for adults, teenagers and smaller kids.
