The Cowshed consists of four comfortable bedrooms in an original, fully equipped, converted milking shed. Each bedroom has 2 single beds and own private bathroom with outdoor shower - enjoy your own view of the surrounding valley! The distinctively decorated rooms reflect the history of the Badfontein Valley and offer a unique way to enjoy the area.
The Cowshed boasts a farm style kitchen, dining room and living area with central fireplace. The stoep surrounding the house enables you to soak up the wonderful scenery in the valley. We also have a wonderful braai area and there is an abundance of birdlife for the serious twitchers.
Go for walks in the mountain, watch zebra, wildebeest and the resident herd of Nguni cattle graze in the plain. We are ideally situated for day trips to
Dullstroom, the
Kruger National Park, Pilgrims Rest, Mac Mac falls, Bridal Veil Falls and Sabi, Tours of the battle grounds of The Anglo Boer War can also be arranged.
Bring your trout rod and fly fish for trout and bass. Bring yourself, bring a friend, bring a book, bring your bicycle and just come and relax and sooth your soul.
