The picturesque and peaceful country town of Somerset West, South Africa is one of the few towns in the world that is blessed with the best of everything: It is surrounded by the magnificent Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains; is less than 10 minutes from the golden beaches of the Strand and Gordon's Bay; and is situated in the heart of the Cape Winelands area.

Similarly The Cozywebb is one of the few guest houses in Somerset West that offers a completely relaxing atmosphere in quiet tranquil surroundings yet is within easy walking distance of the village which boasts superb restaurants, shops, banks and an excellent and well equipped hospital.

We are in close proximity to Cape Town (located approximately 45km to the south-east) and we are also no more than an hour's drive from many beautiful places to visit. The wine routes of Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl are all picturesque trips, and within easy reach from The Cozywebb. We are also surrounded by many excellent wine-producing farms which are part of the Helderberg wine route, such as Vergelegen Wine Estate which one of the Cape's oldest landmarks and is a must for every visitor.

The Cozywebb invites you and your loved ones to our unique part of the world where our warm hospitality and friendliness will have you coming back again and again. We are your home away from home and are also able to provide support for those guests needing special attention between hospital and home. We are 2 minutes from Vergelegen Medi-Clinic and the Oncology Unit in a quiet residential neighborhood and privacy is afforded in the pleasant spacious gardens. The Cozywebb offers the best of both worlds: independent living with the knowledge that personal care and support services are available if needed.

The Cozywebb was established in 2003 and recently the option of home nursing was provided in an effort to accommodate the many enquiries by couples requiring nursing care for one yet accommodation for two. Nursing services can be provided on a 1-24 hour basis and can be individually structured to suit personal requirements.

Our cozy guest house is tastefully decorated with individually appointed guest rooms. Each room has an extra long queen size bed, bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, a ceiling fan, heater, electronic safe, and colour TV. Twin beds are available on request. Most rooms have en-suite bathroom facilities and two rooms have their own entrance and patio.

Other facilities include a bar area with an indoor pizza oven and barbeque, a separate bathroom and sauna, as well as the use of a sparkling swimming pool set in the large private garden.

There is secure off-street parking behind electronic gates. Airport transfers, car rentals and day trips can be arranged for you at the time of booking.

The Cozywebb is located near the N2 freeway therefore the drive into Cape Town city and the V&A Waterfront takes about 30-40 minutes and the airport is a mere 20 minute drive.

Wheelchairs are available for those needing ambulatory assistance.

Airport and hospital transfers are available free of charge for our guests who cannot drive.
