surroundings. The unit is equipped with a full kitchen and with its
own barbeque facilities and carport. Guests are also welcome to dine at the
restaurant in the resort. The restaurant offers their patrons a quality dining
experience, with a menu combining the freshest local ingredients with innovative
recipes and fine attention to detail.
The sites are located a short walk through protected dune forests to the beach.
The resort is just a 10 kilometre drive to Plettenberg Bay town centre, golf
courses, restaurants & many other leisure activities. Situated between the town
of Plettenberg Bay and the Tsitsikamma National Park (±1 hour's drive from
George airport, and ± 2 hours' drive from Port Elizabeth) the Dunes offers you
8km of pristine beach, peace and tranquility surrounded by unspoilt indigenous
coastal forest. Mountain bike riding, horse riding and golf nearby.
This area is blessed with superb weather all year round and is considered to
have one of the finest climates in the world. Home to numerous marine creatures
Keurbooms Beach is a haven for marine life including; Humpback whales, Brydes
whales, Southern Right whales, Common dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins, pelagic
birds and occasionally even a chance sighting of an Orca!
There are a number of superb golf courses in Plettenberg Bay, Knynsa and
surrounds.
Dune Park is an excellent base from which to explore the Garden Route, which is
a popular tourist destination.
