The Heron House is a charming four bedroom cottage set on half an acre of beautiful rolling lawns in the coastal idyll of the
Clansthal conservancy. It boasts a large swimming pool, awe inspiring sea views and is literally a stone's throw from of one of KwaZulu-Natal's most unspoilt beaches.
The house itself sleeps 8. Three of the four bedrooms have queen sized beds, the fourth has two singles. Two of the bedrooms open out onto the generous enclosed veranda which in turn opens out onto the swimming pool. There are three bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and a large lounge and dining area.
The Clansthal conservancy is nestled between
Umkomaas on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast. The area boasts a wide variety of bird and marine life as well as monkeys aplenty and occasionally even a shy duiker. Nearby is the Aliwal Shoal, an internationally renowned dive site and marine sanctuary. A mere 10km to the south,
Scottburgh boasts a large shopping centre with supermarkets and a range of restaurants and take-aways. Alternatively, the bustling city of Durban is a 40 minute drive to the North (
Durban International Airport is 25 minutes in the same direction).
