The Village is a beachfront property with private access to a quiet beach
with rock pools. Set in a peaceful and tranquil setting, it has spotless gardens
and a manicured lawn rolling down to a panoramic view of the sea and fishermen
on the rocks below. The whole complex is self-contained, safe and secure. The
crystal-clear swimming pool is set in its own little area with stunning views
and barbecue facilities. The complex has its own Laundromat.
In Apartment 11 each room has a view of the Indian Ocean. There are three
comfortable bedrooms, two with double beds and one with two singles. The
apartment has a fully equipped kitchen (oven/stovetop, microwave,
fridge/freezer, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery).
All rooms lead on to a large balcony with table and seating for six to eight
people. There's lots of room to sit, relax, and have a drink overlooking the
sea.
The apartment features two clean, modern bathrooms (one shower/toilet, the other
en suite bath/toilet). The open plan dining and sitting room has a sea view and
is equipped with TV, DVD player and Satellite TV (this last available on request
at a small extra charge - please arrange this when booking). All rooms have
ceiling fans. All linen except for towels is provided. Daily servicing of the
apartment can be arranged at a small extra cost.
There is a brand-new shopping centre (Tiffany’s) a three-minute drive away, with
a Super Spar, restaurants, etc. And The Village is 10 minutes away by car from
Ballito, with its major shopping centres and restaurants.
You can drive to the popular swimming beach at Salt Rock in a few minutes or
stroll along quiet beaches and get there in 20 minutes.
There is a lot to do in the vicinity: if you like cycling, you'll enjoy the
quiet roads lining the sugar farms in the hills. For golfers, several
first-class golf courses are a short drive away. In the vicinity a small
airfield offers microlight flights down the coastline. An animal farm 10 minutes
drive away will delight the children. Hluhluwe Game Reserve is a 90-minute drive
up the coast. The Sibaya casino and spa is only 20km away. And in 15-20 minutes
you can be in the Umhlanga Lagoon nature reserve, where you can take a
delightful 1 1/2 hour nature trail through forest, and see vervet monkeys, small
buck and a profusion of butterflies and birds.
It will take you only 15-20 minutes to reach King Shaka International airport,
while the city of Durban itself is a 30-minute drive away.
