False Bay coast where you will have spectacular views of sunrises, sea and
mountains.
Toad Hall is a great comfort private sea facing two bed roomed apartment, one
twin and one king-size, in a quiet cul de sac 100m from the sea and beach. There
is a full bathroom with small sitting room, fully equipped kitchenette, bar
fridge and TV and upstairs a sea facing patio on which to relax. Breakfast is
served indoors or on the patio overlooking the Bay. Close by watch African
Penguins at Boulders Beach or Whale watching in season also visit Cape Point and
then drive the famous Chapmans Peak to Hout Bay.
Simon's Town was named by Simon van der Stel after himself and in 1743 Simon's
Bay became the naval port for the Dutch fleet when they visited in the winter
months.. For nearly 150 years it was the South Atlantic base for the British
Royal navy and only became under the South African control in 1957. St Georges
Church- now a naval museum- is the oldest Anglican church in South Africa.
