Hermanus Wine and Food Festival
The Hermanus Wine and Food Festival is an annual event which takes place in Hemel en Aarde Village in Hermanus in the Western Cape, South Africa. It is a popular event and locals and visitors flock from all around the country to enjoy the festivities on offer. The festival will be held over three days from the 9th August 2012 to 11th August 2012.
The festival has been nominated one of the 10 best wine shows in South Africa and boasts more than 200 wine producers from Elgin to Elim. The festival is a unique experience not to be missed. It offers visitors a wide variety of world class premium wine and an array of delicious foods. You will discover and enjoy flavours you have never experienced before as well as get to meet the local chefs in the food tent who create these flavoursome dishes.
The three days are filled with fun and exciting things to see and do. The children are also catered for and will enjoy the special entertainment that is supplied for them. Be sure not to miss out on this festive event, bring along friends and family and relax with great live music, superb wine and fabulous foods. The wines are available for purchase. No wine will be served or sold to under 18 year olds.
Entrance is R95 per person which includes a wine glass and a booklet on the producers.
