Toverberg Backpackers Springbok and Rooibok - share a bathroom. Linen and towels are supplied and all rooms are equipped with fans and heaters. There is SABC TV in the communal lounge, an equipped kitchen, a barbeque area and secure parking. Restaurants, a museum, shops and supermarket are all within walking distance. Breakfast is provided on request. Pet and child friendly. No smoking is allowed in the bedrooms, kitchen and dining room area.

From its earliest days Bethulie. The Colesberg-Kemper Museum with its 19th century toy collection, memorabilia, is also the permanent house to the UNISA Karoo Nomad Photographic Exhibition. Together with Anglo-Boer War sites and a fine selection of 19th century buildings Colesberg offers an exciting reflection on the past and present. Close by is a nine hole golf course with challenging Karoo fairways but well-maintained grass greens and aprons, and well-equipped club house facilities. Other facilities in town include tennis courts, cycling and walking routes, bird-watching and unique sunrises and sunsets.

All major bus companies stop over at Colesberg - arrangements for transport from the bus stop to your accommodation and back must be made in advance.
