Elim (Overberg - Whale Coast)

Elim
Elim, which means, Place of God, is a beautiful coastal town in the Western Cape and is popular amongst national and international visitors.

Attractions:
Elim has many attractions which include beach walks, hikes and 4x4 trails nearby. Windsurfing and kite surfing and popular fishing spots along the coast. It is also nearby the Agulhas National Park which is famous for its array of endangered fynbos. The town of Elim has some of the most beautiful and historic coastal cottages which date back to the 19th century and attrack many visitors. While on holiday here, you can also visit the lighthouse in Cape Agulhas and the most popular whale watching between the months from June to November when the whales frolic in the nearby water.

Climate:
Elim is in the Western Cape which enjoys cool to cold winter months with most rainfall in these months and warm to hot summer months.
