The Valley Trust welcomes you along the popular route between Durban and Pietermaritzburg, offering you affordable conference facilities, accommodation and catering.
The Area:
The spine of this route links craft centres, tribal villages, nature reserves and horse trails with world famous rolling hills, gorges, rivers and rock pools. All half an hour from the Durban city centre.
At just R80.00 per person we offer you a clean, secure and friendly environment to overnight in. We offer you a choice of rooms for 2, 3 and 4 people (with a total of 40 beds). We encourage you to enjoy our TV lounge and communication facilities. Please note that bathroom facilities are communal.
Conference Centre:
On site alongside our economy accommodation, we offer affordable conference facilities with a maximum of up to 250 seating.
Our centre is equipped with state of the art equipment, ranging from TV, VCR, Overhead, Slide and Video projectors to Data projectors. All rooms are air-conditioned.
Communication facilities include fax, e-mail access, photocopying and telephone.
Team Building:
Our ideal is to create space for you to focus on issues that are of importance to you. So if you wake up everyday and you feel like you are stepping into a stressful, demanding and cut-throat jungle, The Valley Trust is just the place for you to unwind.
Together with your team you can be engaged in a series of challenging cycles within the Spirit of Adventure activity review formula.
Activities include:
- Group dynamics.
- Trust exercise.
- Orienteering.
- Rock climbing.
- Raft building, etc...
1000 Hills Experience:
You really need to spend an extra day or 2 at The Valley Trust to explore the area. But even a short visit becomes a special experience in the company of people who can reveal special points of interest that would escape a casual passer-by.
Backpacker Discovery Package:
The Backpacker Discovery package includes highlights of the work of The Valley Trust. The Program is offered at a nominal fee of R15.00 per person with the option to include 1000 Hills Experience at an additional cost.
Recreation Facilities:
For your relaxation we invite you to enjoy a pool game, a game of tennis or volleyball or a soccer match. Or just unwind in front of a TV.
