Location
Wild Olive Farm is a working wine and olive farm offering fully equipped self-catering cottages and a small camp site, all with spectacular views of the beautiful Witzenberg mountain range which are snow capped in the Winter months. We are situated approximately an hour and 15 minutes from Cape Town and within 10 minutes drive of the historic town of Tulbagh.

Activities
Apart from fishing, swimming, canoeing, walking, cycling, bird watching or just relaxing on our farm, we can also offer our guests personal tours of our brand new wine and Extra Virgin Olive oil making facility.

The town of Tulbagh itself offers excellent restaurants, numerous wine cellars, olive estates, museums and several arts & crafts shops. Historical Church Street is definitely worth a visit as it boasts more historical Cape Dutch monuments in one street than anywhere else in South Africa.

For the more adventurous, hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding, 4x4 trails and golf are all available within 20 minutes drive of the farm.

Accommodation
We have six cottages in total, three of which are gas powered as well as our three new Cape Dutch cottages, all which have electricity. All our cottages are fully furnished and equipped with everything necessary to ensure a comfortable stay including duvets, towels, cutlery, crockery, jetmaster fireplaces and private braai facilities. All you need to bring along is food and drink. Tea, coffee and sugar is also provided.
