Town International Airport. Here you can relax in comfortable beach house style,
while watching southern right whales frolicking in Walker Bay from your patio.
Indulge in the tranquil views of the Onrus lagoon, a haven for many bird species
and the occasional Cape clawless otter. Join in the surfers' fun by day when
they test their skills against the Atlantic Ocean, or let the waves lull you to
sleep at night.
A mere hour's drive from Cape Town, Woelwaters is situated at 81 Atlantic Drive
in the coastal village of Onrus, which neighbours the bigger coastal town of
Hermanus. This part of the southern Cape coast is a well-known summer holiday
and whale-watching destination. Woelwaters is located in the heart the quaint
coastal village on the main beach facing the lagoon and the Onrus River mouth.
Woelwaters is an inviting family home that sleeps 11 people, designed and
equipped for easy seaside living. It overlooks the lagoon and bay, and is five
meters away from the beach. It is fully equipped with quality products and
immaculately maintained.
The self-catering accommodation has been renovated in typical beach house
fashion - practical but stylish. It consists of two fully equipped units, one
sleeping seven, and the other sleeping four persons. Special care is taken to
ensure the privacy of our guests.
The main house sleeps 7 people. It consists of three bedrooms, each having a
bathroom at its disposal. The main bathroom has a shower, toilet, washbasin and
a bath, while the other two has a toilet, shower and basin. The main bedroom
overlooks the bay with French doors opening to an inviting sea facing patio with
a stunning view of the bay, main beach and lagoon. The fully equipped open plan
kitchen adjoins the dining room with a table seating at least ten people.
Amenities include a microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble
dryer. The spacious living areas provide invites you to sit back, relax, and
enjoy the spectacular location. French doors
open to the beachfront. A fireplace ensures cosy comfort on chilly nights. A TV
and DSTV decoder is provided, but own smart card is required.
The annex sleeps 4 people. And can be rented as an as an additional unit
consisting out of two bedrooms, one in the loft and the other sea facing, with
French doors opening to the beachfront. Each bedroom has a bathroom at its
disposal, consisting of a shower, washbasin and toilet. The kitchen and open
plan living area opens up to a barbeque area and small garden with a view of the
mountains and the sea!
