Wolwekrantz Self Catering Guest Cottage
Wolwekrantz is a spacious, privately situated, self catering cottage nestled
against the mountains. It has breathtaking views of the lovely bay and mountains
of the picturesque fishing village of Hout Bay.
The view sweeps across the bay to the lighthouse at Kommetjie and in the evening
you can enjoy the peace and quiet while sipping sundowners and watching
spectacular sunsets. Whales and dolphins love this sheltered bay and are often
to be seen enjoying its waters.
Wolwekrantz is ideal for a honeymoon as the cottage offers romance and
seclusion.
Cottage is suited to a couple or to a family with 1 or 2 children. Maximum of 4
people.
The cottage is a free standing unit and has its own shady, very private garden,
a welcome retreat from the hectic of tourist spots. You are welcome to barbeque
or just enjoy its tranquillity.
Our large blue pool is there for you to enjoy.
Children are welcome to run around on our big lawn and play on the swing.
There is safe parking for your car right next to the cottage.
Accommodation
Our décor has warm, earthy colours with crisp white walls and a touch of ocean
blue here and there.
All rooms are sea facing and the lounge and dining area is open plan.
The spacious main bedroom with Queen Bed has an en suite Bathroom with Bath and
Shower. A loft Bedroom has twin beds. There is a second separate Toilet and
Shower downstairs.
For cool nights there is a fireplace for which we provide wood.
Our kitchen is fully equipped for self catering with microwave, small stove,
fridge, coffee machine, kettle and all utensils.
Pure cotton bed linen and towels are provided.

Nearby
Though quietly situated we are a mere stone's throw from the mile long white
sandy beach of Hout Bay, from shops and restaurants and from Chapman's Peak
Drive.
You can buy fresh fish from a boat in the harbour, visit one of our great ice
cream shops or spend time at Hout Bay's Sunday Craft Market.
We are a spectacular 20 minute drive along the Atlantic, from the V and A
Waterfront, the City and Table Mountain. The Winelands of Constantia are on our
doorstep and Hout Bay is an ideal half way resting place from which to visit
other parts of the Cape Peninsula.
