Woodford House is on the slope of Table Mountain and caters for up to
eight people. The three upstairs bedrooms, lounge, family room, kitchen, heated pool, patio, garden and barbecue all have fabulous panoramic views over the beach and Atlantic ocean. The fourth bedroom downstairs is the only room in the whole house without a view of the ocean. You walk within ten minutes to the beach front and promenade with lots of popular bars, restaurants and a
supermarket. The distance to the centre of Cape Town with the V&A Waterfront,
Aquarium and Soccer Stadium is 7 km, to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens 15 km, to
Groot Constantia wine farm 18 km and to the airport 25 km.
Woodford House offers luxury 4 star accommodation for the whole house to
groups and families from 4 to 8 people. Children of all ages are welcome. A
cot is available.
Our house gives you total privacy in and outside and feels like home with
downstairs a big lounge and spacious modern, open plan family room/ kitchen,
scullery, bedroom 4 and a large inside courtyard with tropical plants and gas
fireplace. Relax around a fire on a winters evening. Heated swimming pool in
winter with the temperature of the water up to 30 degrees centigrade. Sun tan on
a beach chair and swim in the warm water is wonderful on one of the many sunny
winter days in Camps Bay.
Woodford House has 4 large double bedrooms with 4 fully tiled luxury
bathrooms, each with a toilet, basin, big bath and a separate shower.
All three upstairs bedrooms have air-conditioning.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed and bathroom en-suite with a second basin and a
bidet. It has retractable awnings to control the sun on the panoramic windows.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds with the bathroom next door.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and bathroom en-suite.
Bedroom 4 has two single beds and bathroom en-suite. This room feels very
private and has a big table where children can play on our computer using the
big TV screen as monitor. For the children we have Sony Play Station 2 with
games.
Each bedroom has satellite DStv with a big 32 inch/ 800 cm TV , a radio,
hairdryer and electronic lock-up safe deposit. Also linen and towels, including
beach towels in all the bedrooms. And a DVD player in bedroom1.
The family room has satellite DStv with a large 42 inch/1000cm plasma TV with
surround sound theatre system and a DVD player.
Wireless internet free of charge in the whole house.
Washing machine, tumble dryer and private washing lines only for our guests.
Fully fitted kitchen with granite tops, a fridge, double oven, microwave,
toaster and coffee maker. Scullery with granite tops and dishwasher.
Under floor heating in winter in the family room, kitchen, scullery, each
bathroom and downstairs bedroom 4.
Single garage with remote control. Parking for a second car on the property.
Baby sitting and extra cleaning services available.
The owner and his wife live next door and you are always welcome to ring their
front door bell if you need something.
