Facilities
The lodge is situated in a lovely garden of Cycads, Marula trees and African
Figs trees. Cool down on hot summer days in the pool or sit and relax in the
garden surrounded by the bird life the Fig and Marula trees attract and watch
the game come in to drink at the waterhole.
Relax in our thatched Gazebo, read a book, commune with nature or have a snooze
surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wild.
Relax in the evening with sundowners and listen to the night sounds unfold in
the boma overlooking the waterhole or be privileged in watching traditional Zulu
Dancers entertaining you with their songs and dance, which tell fabulous stories
of their forefathers.
Warm up on winter evenings around a lovely log fire and enjoy being pampered by
our capable staff. Enjoy watching various animal species quenching their thirst
from our hide at a waterhole. Here, if you are very quiet they will come close
without detecting you even being there.
On rainy evenings enjoy a sole warming drink in our beautifully ethnic,
welcoming bar. Here you will also be able to catch up on the latest world news
watching CNN on our big screen TV. DSTV is available at all times.
Play in-door games, read a book or just relax with a cup of tea in our lovely,
spacious lounge area - idea for family get-togethers!
We also offer small corporate Team Builds with in-house facilitation and

accommodating larger Conferences and Team Building events. For further

Dining
Enjoy the most amazing South African cuisine prepared by our chef either in the
Boma or on Nkonkoni Hill (Wildebeest/Gnu in Zulu). These meals are served in the
most traditional of ways arriving to a big log fire, watching the sun setting
over the mountains and first a visit from our bar man in the bush, then a meal
so tasty it calls for more.
