• Bookings will be confirmed on receipt of a deposit of no less than 50 % of the total bill within 48 hours as bookings cannot be held. • Balance of rental is due 7 days before arrival. A breakage deposit of R2000-R4000 is required and will be refunded 7 days after departure-via bank deposit. Your banking details are required. • Payments are not refundable unless the accommodation is re-let for the full period. • Check-in is 2pm and Check-out is 10am. R1000.00 will be deducted from the deposit if the cottage is vacated after 10am. • Accommodation is occupied at the tenants own risk. • Only the number of people stated on the enquiry form are permitted on the premises that includes children/babies. • No towels supplied. One complimentary toilet roll only is supplied in each toilet. • The people making the booking will be responsible for the other guests. (no booking for others) • Minimum booking of 2 nights. • The cottage is fully serviced. Washing and ironing is excluded. • We cannot be held responsible for electricity/water interruptions. • One small dog allowed by prior arrangement only. • Mattresses are not to be removed from the beds. • WE DO NOT ACCOMMODATE PARTIES OR FUNCTIONS! • No noise after 10 pm will be permitted as it is a residential area. Should there be a complaint from other residents the remainder of your stay will be forfeited and the breakage deposit will not be refunded. COVID-19 POLICIES • Cancellations due to COVID-19 related issues will not allow for a refund. • Rescheduling will be allowed at the season rate which was previously booked if booking rescheduled for following year annual increases will apply. This policy only applies if travel is restricted/prohibited by the SA GOVERNMENT COVID19 regulations & law. • House is sanitized using a machine before and after every stay. • Foot pump sanitizer is supplied at entrance of establishment. • All staff are screened daily. • We are not responsible for any COVID-19 related issues on the DVBH premises. • All guests enter the premises at their own risk. • DVBH Management hold the right to make COVID-19 policies changes without notice. GUEST INDEMNITY[1] This indemnity applies to all persons who enter the Premises, whether as casual visitor, overnight guest, user of any of the facilities on the Premises or participating in any activity on the Premises or arranged by Dolphin View Beach House (collectively referred to as ‘the Visitor’) The Visitor acknowledges that he/she has read & understands this indemnity & agrees to be bound by the following: • We enter and use the Premises, parking areas, surrounds, stairs on the Premises & participate in any activities at the Premises entirely at my own risk. • Right of admission is reserved. • I warrant that I have advised all other guests in my group- We are aware of & accept that we will be exposed to risks and dangers and that we comprehend the risk & the implications thereof and under no circumstances will hold Dolphin View Beach House liable. • Such risks and activities include without limitation pools, ponds, recreational areas, cats, dogs, glass sliding doors, fire pits, braai areas. • We agree to obey at all times any warning notices and instructions of Dolphin View Beach House. • Visitors hold harmless and indemnify the owners, management, staff, directors of Dolphin View Beach House and other guests (‘the Indemnified Parties’) against any consequences of visiting, participating in any activities or incidents at or arranged by Dolphin View Beach House and waive any claims we may have. • It includes any loss of/damage to personal effects/property, any indirect, consequential, or special loss/damage, financial loss, illness, injury, harm or death howsoever caused & legal costs. • The primary guest takes full responsibility when signing the booking form for everyone’s indemnity on the premises and any issue/injury/damages should be taken up directly with the primary guest. • Parent/Legal Guardian are legally responsible for minors within their groups and any loss or injury will be the sole responsibility of the parent/legal Gaudian and under no circumstances the responsibility of Dolphin View Beach House staff/management/owner. |
