The Grande Kloof is a privately owned and operated accommodation establishment offering both Bed & Breakfast and Self Catering options in a great holiday location within the upmarket residential area of Fresnaye, on the Atlantic Seaboard in Cape Town, South Africa.

Accommodation comprises a variety of room types which include rooms, backpackers and apartments. The garden rooms are on the lower level and would suit single travellers who enjoy a garden setting. The reception-level room is perfect for the traveller with a tighter budget. Top Floor Sea View rooms include 2 options with beautiful sea and mountain views. There are Deluxe Rooms with an open-plan bathroom to bedroom concept. There are also Luxury Rooms which are very spacious, light and airy. We also have a newly revamped extension, 8 rooms with bunk beds and a shared bathroom. Perfect for backpackers or groups.

A quick, easy breakfast is served every morning with a smile. Our lounge and luxury bar area is Wi-Fi enabled and is the perfect place to unwind.

The Grande Kloof offers guests an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers, as well as outdoor gazebos with seating and braai facilities.

We also offer our guests a massage therapy option and reflexology treatment, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Tours, taxis, airport transfers and other requests are welcome.

Sea View Suites

These deluxe rooms have an open-plan bathroom-to-bedroom concept, located on the top floor which opens out onto a terrace with panoramic views of Lions Head and the ocean. 2 with shower and 1 with bath and shower.

Petit Garden Suites

These petite garden level rooms are open-plan en-suite rooms with double beds, and have views of the garden, gazebos and braai area for the ultimate relaxation experience. The sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi are close by to these suites.

Garden Family Suite

This spacious luxury family suite opens out to the gazebo and braai area. This luxury unit has 2 separate bedrooms with an interleading door, both have en-suite showers. The 1st bedroom has 1 double bed and 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds with a lounge area.

Sea View Family Suite

This luxury deluxe room has an open-plan bedroom-to-bathroom concept. The room can accommodate 4 guests with 1 queen and 1 double bed, and a separate bath and shower. The room is on the upper level which opens out onto a terrace with panoramic views.

Sea View Deluxe Suites

These are spacious and luxurious rooms, both have separate en-suite bathrooms, 1 with a huge double shower and separate bath, and the other with a shower-over-bath, a spacious sitting area and views of Lion's Head and the ocean from their balconies.

Self Catering 3 Bedroom House

This self-catering home has 3 bedrooms with 1 en-suite bath and shower and 2nd bathroom with shower-over-bath. The home has a spacious open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area opening out onto a huge patio overlooking the pool with sea views.

Self Catering 2 Bedroom Apartments

These self-catering apartments have 2 bedrooms, and an open-plan lounge and kitchen. 1 apartment has a shower-over-bath, while the others have a separate bath and shower. All have a front balcony with sea views, and back terrace overlooking Lions Head.

Self catering Open Plan apartment

This spacious open-plan self-catering apartment has 2 double beds on a raised area, a separate bathroom with a shower and dressing area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has a large terrace with sea views.

Budget Reception Room

This room has a double bed with an en-suite shower and is close to the reception area with the parking bays outside which can be a bit noisy at times. Recommended for singles or couples who enjoy the nightlife and are out till late.

Self Catering 1 Bedroom Apartment

These spacious 1 bedroom apartments have a double bed, separate shower, an open-plan lounge and kitchen, and a small garden area in the front. The unit has free Wi-Fi and Netflix.
