Please Note:

  • A minimum booking of 2 nights is required over weekends and minimum bookings vary over long weekends & school holidays.
  • Minimum 3 Night Booking in December and School Holidays
  • Block bookings available for private use of Heaven On Vaal.
  • Heartbeats include children and grandparents.
  • No sound systems are allowed on the property unless entire venue is hired and silence from 23h00.
  • Smoking in units or closed public areas not allowed
  • Absolutely No Fireworks allowed
  • No swimming in the river
If we are able to accommodate any extra guests in any of the units there will be the following charges per night:
  • Babies up to 2 years: Free
  • 2 - 6 years: R 50,00 Bring your own bed & bedding etc
  • 7 - 12 years: R150,00 Bring your own bed & bedding etc
  • 13 years and older: R350,00 We supply bed & bedding
Deposits
Each unit has a Key & Breakages refundable deposit of R500,00 with the exception of Lavender & Thatch units which are R700,00. No refund will be made if rooms have been smoked in.
Day Vistors
Please request, prior to booking, if you would like to have day visitors. Day visitors of guests pay an entrance fee of R100.00 per car and R50.00 per person. Day visitors are to vacate the property by 17:00. As we are limited in the number of day visitors that we are able to accommodate your request may be unsuccessful.
Activities
We have a swimming pool, Braai facilities, fishing and Boat Trips on the river. Please make arrangements on booking with regard to our boat rides etc. Swimming in the river is not allowed.
Boat or wet bike launching on request,(Please confirm price on booking) per craft. COF & COC to be presented prior to launch.
Pets
We are pet friendly, please contact Ansie or Lynne prior to checking in to confirm rules. We will need current vaccination certificates for rabies etc. The Pet Policy needs to be signed & forwarded before occupation.
 
What to bring
Please remember to bring your swimming towels as our towels are for use only in the unit/s. Remember to bring milk, dishwashing liquid, dishcloths, toilet rolls, toiletries, charcoal & fire starters for your braai as well as your food. Bring sun block cream in the summer.
Should you wish to do night fishing, please remember to bring your gas lamps.
PLEASE BRING YOUR TV, DSTV CARD ALONG WITH YOUR DECODER & CONNECTIONS IF YOU WANT TO WATCH TV. WE DO HAVE A DISH FOR EACH UNIT.
 
Any type of function requires hiring of entire venue i.e. all units. Special rates will apply. This includes birthday parties, etc. No sound systems allowed and silence from 23h00.

Our venue is very popular, so remember, prevent disappointment - payment as per booking confirmation secures booking.
Please follow our simple directions, on our booking confirmation, in order to have a safe and stress free trip. NO sand roads to Heaven on Vaal.
 
Heavenly Events Venue

Riverside Facility that is able to cater for up to 200 guests.
The venue has a separate chapel that can accommodate 160 guests and has an indoor staircase that links it to the wedding venue.
The Wedding venue includes White table cloths and white linen serviettes, white or black chair covers available in the venue with crockery, cutlery, champagne glasses etc.
The Chapel is able to be tailored to suit your specific religious needs.
We have a varied selection of menus from which to select.
A full private Cash Bar is available in the venue.  No food or beverages are allowed to be brought onto the property.

Arrival & Departure Times
Check in is after 14h00 and before 18h00. Office closes at 18h00.
Early arrival and late departure can be arranged, if possible, at R100 per hour or less per 4 sleeper unit & R200 per hours or less for Lavender or Thatch unit.
