Marlenes Guesthouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation in Carletonville, West Rand, Gauteng. We cater mainly for business travellers during the week and open for wedding guests, skydivers, etc.. Over weekends.

We have four spacious en-suite rooms. The dining room and lounge are separate from the rooms, although we do room service for honeymoon couples or on request.

The pool area is open to all our guests and the garden is ideal for photo sessions. Our new lapa in progress and will accommodate 15-20 people for dinners, special cavery or other requests.

The conference room can be used for meetings or seminars, up to 30 delegates. We could do valentines - and special functions as swell, like baby showers or birthday parties.

Safe parking for 4 vehicles, behind remote access controlled gates. Car guards are available during meetings or functions.

DSTV in all the suites, with air-conditioning available.
DVD player supplied on request for guests who stay for longer.

We are 80 km from Johannesburg airport and 70 from Lanseria. Cradle of Mankind and Maropeng Heritage site is only 60km away. They serve an unreal buffet on Sundays. Potchefstroom is 55 km with all big city facilities.

Carletonville offers the best skydiving in RSA. Many skydivers visit our town on a weekly basis. Just 5 km from guesthouse the deepest gold mine is in Carletonville. We are in the process to arranging day visits to the training centres to give our guests a feel of the real mining industry.

We will remain a Guest House and not a Boutique Hotel. Our service is our pride!!!
