Aaah... Nights to dream about - days to remember!

Milkwood Cottage is in Sheffield Beach, a secluded spot on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal. The cottage is self-catering (sleeps two) and consists of one large bed/sitter with fully-equipped kitchenette/dining area and separate shower/toilet/dressing-room. It has a separate entrance and excellent security for both yourselves and your vehicle. We offer either a king-size bed or two single beds. DStv is available at the cottage.

Its private patio is the ideal spot to relax, watching birds in the giant milkwood, dolphins in the surf beyond and, in season, whales gliding majestically by.

Off the patio is the beach path leading to our quiet cove a few steps away where one can swim, sunbathe, snorkel, dive for crayfish, fish from rock and surf or collect shells and mussels. 'Champagne pool' (photo) is one of the many natural tidal pools which can be enjoyed year-round because of our mild winters.

Milkwood Cottage enjoys the best of both worlds in that Sheffield is a cul-de-sac, unspoilt by the hurley-burley of busier centres yet no more than a few minutes drive from excellent shopping facilities in Ballito. Plus, within a 20-minute radius south, are the many delights of Durban and Umhlanga, Sibaya Casino, numerous golf courses, restaurants, fascinating Indian temples and other places of interest.

An hour north is the historic town of Hluhluwe and Mfolozi game reserves.
